Escorted Tours
Welcome to Finland, the Land of a Thousand Lakes. Upon arrival in Rovaniemi, the Capital of the Finnish Lapland, find your way to a hotel for check-in (private transfer can be pre-booked in advance). Lapland is as close as reality gets to those who dream of a winter wonderland. Contrasts are a key factor in the allure of Lapland where 24 hour sunlight in the summer replaces the dark winter days. The hustle and bustle of towns and ski resorts is just minutes away from the peace and quiet of the wild wilderness. In the evening, meet your Tour Escort in the hotel lobby for an informational meeting, which you will get all the necessary information about the flow of your tour. The meeting time is to be advised.
After breakfast in the hotel, we start the day immediately immersing yourself into the magic of Lapland. The morning begins with a private bus transfer heading toward the Reindeer Farm. Here, you will experience a traditional Reindeer ride, providing a peaceful introduction to the local culture and the snowy landscape. The journey continues with a visit to the world famous Santa Claus Village. Here, enjoy a lunch buffet served at the Christmas House Restaurant or similar. In the afternoon, at 14:30pm, the pace quickens with a 2.5 km Husky Safari. During this adventure, you will travel in teams of four on a sledge led by a professional musher. The day’s highlight begins at 21:00pm with an evening excursion for Aurora hunting in the Ounasvaara area, guided by our team leader (Roundtrip TRF included). Afterwards, return to the hotel for your overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
