Upon arrival in Bangkok, you will be transferred to your hotel. There will be a group meeting this evening and then time to experience the bright lights of the Thai Capital City. Meals: Dinner
This morning, we will take a city bicycle tour of Bangkok. Travelling on quiet back streets we avoid traffic and discover the historic heart of Bangkok. We make a stop to visit the famous Temple of Dawn with the largest bronze Buddha image in Thailand. The tour is also an opportunity to see how people live their everyday lives. At the heart of the city is the Chao Phraya River, the 'River of Kings' and a network of waterways. Whilst tourists take tours by longtail boats, thousands of people still use ferries to get around the city. Slow barges transport cargo and children play at the water's edge. You will see humble wooden dwellings perched along the riverbank as well as Skyscraper Hotels, Temples, Churches and European Architecture all within close proximity. There will also be time for shopping and sightseeing or you can simply enjoy the atmosphere and delicious food of the local street restaurants and little cafes. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
