Upon arrival, you will meet and greet your guide at Lede Kalumbang Airport, formally Tambolaka Airport, located in South West Sumba. Afterwards, we will head to a local restaurant for lunch. From here, we will start our journey by visiting Bondo Kapumbu Village, which is a hidden traditional village in South West Sumba. The journey continues to Ketewel Beach, where you can visit the Salt Farmers and see how they make the salt in a traditional way. Afterwards, we continue to Lendongara to watch the sunset over the hills and the Sumba landscape. We continue our journey to our hotel for check-in and our overnight stay. Meals: Lunch
After breakfast, we will head to the Village of Ratenggaro in the Kodi area. Here, we will see the traditional high roofed houses (the highest rooftops in all of Sumba), all made traditionally by hand. This village is the only one of a few traditional villages left in the area. While the village is just a compound of some houses, each house can accommodate up to 50 family members. During the harvesting season, most of the villagers will stay in their fields to work and only leave the elders and children in the village. Afterwards, we will continue on to Weekuri Lake, a crystal clear lake, which makes it a great place to swim and relax. Spend some time in the lake for a short, or long dip. Do not miss walking around the rocks and Reef, where you can also see the ocean from one side. Lunch boxes will be prepared. After lunch, we will continue to Mandorak Beach, which is located next to Weekuri Lake and is protected by two massive rock ridges pointing towards the centre and crystal clear water. We will then depart back to the hotel for our overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

After breakfast, we will depart to Talasi to see the Cashew Farm and Production. Here you will get the chance to try their original Cashew Milk. Afterwards, we will go to the Waikacura area where you can go trekking to the rice fields. Here, you will get the chance to see the local farmers do their activities and, at the end of the trek, you will see the stunning river in the middle of the rice field. Next, after trekking, we go to West Sumba and have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we go to visit the beautiful hidden beach of Watubela. On the way, you will pass a small village and palm garden to get to the beach. Relax on the beach, and we'll go to your hotel after that. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before we depart to the traditional village in West Sumba. Here, you will experience a warm welcome by the locals. Enjoy talking with them and listening to the story of the village and the island. After engaging with them, they will invite you to join them in cooking Sumba's traditional foods. Once the foods are ready, enjoy lunch together. After lunch, enjoy a coffee or a tea and sit with them for a while before saying goodbye. After our village visit, enjoy a drive through the endless hilly and green landscape of Sumba, arriving at Lapopu Waterfall. To get to the Waterfall, enjoy a short hike of approximately 15 minutes crossing a Bamboo Bridge to get there. Here, there is a nice spot to sit down and watch the water find its way down the hill. After our visits, we will return to the hotel for our overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
After breakfast, we will check-out from the hotel before departing to visit the Village of Praijing, which is a traditional village uphill surrounded by lots of greenery. This is one of the few villages where you will have a beautiful overview of the entire village and get an idea of how this village is conducted. Take some time to walk around the village where the elders occupy most of the houses and kids are always around to share their smiles. Afterwards, you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight to your next destination. Meals: Breakfast
