About the Resort

Imagine a smattering of billowing white tents, shaded by Desert Palms and surrounded by a thousand acres of shimmering, sparkling nothingness. San Camp is a small, romantic camp with a beautiful location on the Makgadikgadi Pans. Although its design and facilities are slightly more understated, the camp favours a Bedouin style with its tented pavilions, warmly lit lanterns, Mahogany furniture and oriental carpets. Guests can enjoy the breathtaking Makgadikgadi Pans, which form the backdrop for this impressive and elegantly styled camp. Wildlife in the region includes the famous black maned Lions and Cheetahs, small roaming herds of Wildebeest and Zebra, as well as Elephants and brown Hyaenas, which are almost exclusive to this region.

Location

San Camp sits on the edge of Makgadikgadi Salt Pans, overlooking Ntwetwe Pan, in the heart of the Kalahari Desert and the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park.
