Description: Breakfast at your hotel. City Highlights Tour Start Time: 08:30am or 14:30pm Duration: 4 Hrs With over eight million inhabitants and four million motorbikes, Sài Gòn is truly a city that never sleeps. Despite its modernity, Sài Gòn maintains a strong link to the past and our city tour takes in some of Sài Gòn’s most historic landmarks including the Notre Dame Cathedral, a red brick edifice with twin spires constructed from materials imported from France (entrance is only permitted when no services are being performed). We then head across the square to the Central Post Office, completed in 1891. A short drive away is the former Presidential Palace, the headquarters of the Sài Gòn Government during the American War. Continue to the War Remnants Museum for a vivid perspective of the American War through the eyes of the Vietnamese. Please Note: Some of the displays are very graphic. Experience Sài Gòn’s famed street coffee culture while your guide provides a brief language lesson as well as insights into daily life of a Sài Gònese before returning to your hotel. Visit to the Củ Chi Tunnels Start Time: 08:30am or 13:30pm Duration: 4 Hrs Morning transfer to the Jetty where we depart for the Củ Chi Tunnels. Begin your private speedboat excursion and witness glittering skyscrapers and busy commercial centres giving way to green fields and stilt houses along the Sài Gòn River. Arrive at the famous Củ Chi Tunnels, an immense network of connecting underground tunnels started in 1948 to protect the Viet Cong guerrillas from the French air and ground sweeps. The tunnels also served as living quarters, communication and supply routes, and housed hospitals, food and weapons caches. Touring the underground compounds will provide a better understanding of the history of the tunnels, the hardship of life in the tunnels and the Vietnamese resilience during combat. Return by private speedboat to Sài Gòn with a stop en route for lunch at a local restaurant. Cold Towels and Water will be supplied during the tour.
Start Time: 08:00am Duration: 7-8 Hrs Description: Breakfast at your hotel. We depart Sài Gòn early this morning for a 1.5 Hr. drive to Bến Tre, the gateway to the Mekong Delta. Escape the high energy city for a day of exploring sprawling rice paddies and colourful fruit farms. Arrive at the quaint An Khánh hamlet, where travellers will visit a small home factory that makes the traditional dish of sticky rice covered by coconut leaves. Meet with the owner and her hard working team who will teach you about how they use century old traditional methods to make this special and tasty cake. We continue this rural journey of discovery with a short drive to meet a local family in Quới Sơn village. After wandering though the lush gardens of this village, a motorboat awaits your arrival to begin a thirty minute excursion passing peaceful scenes of countryside living. You can trade your boat trip for a bicycle and enjoy a relaxing ride over easy, level terrain as you travel through narrow village lanes lined with fruit orchards and customary cottages. When you arrive at your destination, sample exotic fresh fruits on the orchard of a local fruit farmer. Here you can also choose to ride on either a horse drawn cart or tri-motorcycle through the lush surroundings of the fruit farms before boarding a sampan for a ride along the narrow canals of the Mekong. End your excursion at a local farmer's house where a lunch of Mekong Delta specialties will be served before driving back to Sài Gòn. Cold Towels and Water will be supplied during the tour.

Most businesses are closed during TET holiday.
