Description:

From Sunrise Landscapes to Coastal Paradise, discover the charm of East Jeju on a full day journey filled with dramatic Coastal Scenery, unique Lava Caves, rich Cultural Heritage and Golden Beaches. This route combines nature, history and local traditions for an unforgettable Island experience.

Begin your adventure exploring an impressive lava cave formed thousands of years ago, Ilchul Land ‘Micheongul Cave’. Stroll through mystical underground passages decorated with unique rock formations, then enjoy the peaceful gardens above ground.

Next, visit Seongeup Folk Village. Step back in time at this well preserved Traditional Village, wander between thatched roof houses, meet friendly locals and learn about Jeju’s centuries old customs and lifestyle. Afterwards, continue to Gwangchigi Beach to marvel at sweeping Ocean views with Seongsan Ilchulbong rising in the background. At low tide, the Green Moss covered Rocks create one of Jeju’s most photogenic coastal scenes.

See the Haenyeo Diving Show and witness the courage and skill of Jeju’s famous Women Divers, the ‘Haenyeo’. See them free dive into the sea without oxygen tanks to harvest seafood, continuing a UNESCO recognised cultural tradition.
