Description: Early this morning at 06:30am you will be picked up from either your Nairobi Hotel or the Airport for your departure to Samburu National Reserve located in the Northern Kenya. You will drive for 2 Hrs 30 Mins to arrive Nanyuki Town at 09:30am. Here, you will have a stopover at the Equator crossing. This is an imaginary line that divides the Earth into two Hemispheres North and South. There is a big sign where you will be able to take a photo saying you are now crossing the Equator. On a clear day, there is a high chance of seeing Mount Kenya, which is the highest Mountain in Kenya. From there, you will continue on for another 2 Hrs where you will now be entering the Gate arriving in time for lunch and check-in. Later, depart on an afternoon Game Viewing in the Reserve. Meals: Lunch, Dinner. • 2 nights’ Accommodation 2 nights’ Samburu Simba Lodge 4* or similar, Samburu National Reserve 1 x Double / Twin Room Full Board
Description: Depart on an early morning Game Drive in the Reserve before returning to the Camp for breakfast. Enjoy the rest of the mid-morning for relaxation at the Lodge. After lunch, proceed for an afternoon Game Drive in the Reserve. Samburu is famous for its truly wild semi-arid landscape and the large concentration of wild animals and birdlife. Together with the adjoining Shaba and Buffalo Springs National Reserves, Samburu is popular for hosting the rare Northern Kenya animal species Gerenuk, Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy's Zebra, Beisa Oryx and Somali Ostrich, which are not found in the other popular Parks and Reserves in Kenya. It is also home to all the African Big Cats such as Lions, Cheetahs and Leopards, alongside other Big Game including Elephants, Buffalos, Warthogs, Hippos, Impala, Water Buck and many others. Samburu is also a renowned bird watching haven with hundreds of Bird species resident here. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Description: Early breakfast before check-out followed by a short Game Drive through the Reserve. Afterwards, you will continue to drive back to Nairobi with drop-off at either your Nairobi Hotel or at the Airport for your onward journey.
