Day Tour to Petra from Amman

Start Time: 07:00am

Duration: 10 Hrs

Description:

You will be picked up from your hotel in Amman at 07:00am by your English speaking driver who will take you along the Desert Highway to Petra. Depending on traffic the transfer could take a minimum of 2.5 hours.

Around 09:30am you will be matched with your private guide and begin your visit to the astonishing rock city Petra. This fascinating ancient Nabatean capital dominated the Arabian trade routes and is a must see in the Middle East. Pass the Siq, a narrow gorge where you get the first close views of the colourful sandstone, ending at the beautiful Treasury. You will walk along the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs, the Theatre and Qasr Al Bint. Here the guide says farewell to you before you enjoy some free time on your own, then walk the same way back to the entrance gate. At 14:30pm, meet your driver and prepare for your return transfer to Amman. Arrive back at your hotel at 17:00pm.
